Picked up a 2006 Silver 40k miles for $17,700 OTD from dealer last week. Aftermarket radio, few scratches on the front bumper and 1 scratch on the back.

I recently purchased an 03 mint condition Berlina w/only 16,300 miles for $13,200. It's a buyers market so have patience grasshopper; your car will find you, not the other way around.

Hi everyone, I need your opinions on an '02 Suzuka Blue with 74k miles with new tires and a new top, for $10,650. It has had 5 owners, however, he says it is in excellent condition. Is this a fair price? Thanks!

So it seems like I can't find (right now anyway) an 06 with 40-60k mi for under 17k in SoCal...to make it worse, I'm looking for GPW lol. Should I hold out and wait or should I find an 04 or 05...I can't decide if DBW/VSA and flashable ECU are worth the extra few thousand...but I'm thinking they are...

There's a clean red 06 w/60k mi, WITH aftermarket hardtop in Hollywood for 18k at a podunk dealership...worth a look?

I was looking into buying a 05 Silverstone AP2 w/ 45k miles and salvage title. The rear left wheel was hit and all suspension was replaced and not any body damage w/ this accident. It needs new rear bumper and some parts of car need paint. Other then all of this, it drives great, all interior is in good cond. along with the top. The asking price is 12k. I know alot of peeps are telling me not to get a salvage car, but then again I dont wont a high mileage, older car. All opinions welcome...

You should wait. I got my in the SF bay area and I was looking in LA area as well. The prices seems to be inflated recently. Use KBB as your guide. I seen 05- 40k-50km asking for $15k and it took a couple of months to sell privately. There were a couple 2006 CPO with 25k miles sold for $17k recently in LA. I was too late to grab one of those. Wait and save a couple of grand.

pkolaboy: $12k with needed ~$1k worth of work for salvage. I wouldn't do it unless you get it down to $10k or lower.

It depends on if you want GPW or not - they can be hard to find used.

I found a 2003 silverstone with 71k miles listed for $10,888 obo. Im thinking if i can negotiate to around 10k it would be a good deal. Its at a dealership, not a private party. Opinions, should i set my negotiating goal lower?

$10k is probably a decent price if the car is in good condition. I'd try to get 9 and expect to meet in the middle. Check the vin stickers and get a carfax.
