I just sold my 2002 yesterday for $7,450.

I paid 17k for it at the end of '06.

Sorry if I brought the resale down.

Edmunds TMV for an’03 w/23.5K is $13,451. (Private Party in “Excellent” condition)
$12,700 if the condition drops from the top level of “excellent” to “clean“.

imo-You should be able to get at least $13,451 if it’s truly in “mint” condition.

I'll give you 1500 cash. Tomorrow. In Yen or Italian Lira, your call. Is that what you wanted to hear?

I kind of assumed "old-guy driven, never raced," since that's what EVERYONE says. I'd really like an an ad to read:

"My son learned to drive on it, street-raced it every weekend, probably bent frame taking jumps. Asking top dollar as it was a local winner at every party."

Seriously, "never raced?" Might as well say "NHRA favorite as it left a blue cloud behind it that killed competitiion for hours afterwards." Just as rational in a for sale ad. Why bother mentioning it if it never happened? And we've all raced old guys. They drive it like they hate it because presumably they can afford to replace it. No better than a kid driving daddy's car, at the end of the day.

Wow, that makes me feel substantially better about the $10,500 I got for my '01 in November. Shit, when they hit $5k I'll just scoop up another one.

S2000's are now getting to sell for less than the cost of a pair of new replacement seats!

Is this worth it?

05 BB S2K w/ 35k miles. Asking price is 16.5k from private seller.

Or

06 NFR w/30k miles for 20k from dealer.

What do you guys think of those two. Thanks.

I still think he'd have a hard time getting top dollar for the car. Have you tried selling a car lately? No one's paying KBB value, especially for a car that's in such a focused niche as an S2000. Plus, he's got a Silverstone. Not saying that's bad, it's just that it's a pretty common S2000 color that people can easily find. What I'm getting at is that if someone's bent on getting that color, they could and would probably pick one that has more miles but is in as good a condition as his but for a grand or two less than "Excellent" KBB pricing.
