So I found a 03 S2000, it is white (which I been looking for) it has 48k miles, Tan interior/seats. The front bumper has the usual rock chips and looks like the scraped the underside of the bumper a few times, so I would definitely have that fixed, as well as a couple other minor chips I saw and a very shallow dent on the right rear panel, and a small area above the front right tire that looks like it had a dent in it and got chipped. The engine bay is very clean and so is the interior considering its age. The engine sounds good overall, but to me it also sounds like its time for a valve adjustment. They were originally asking 17,9 and now am hearing 14,5, including all dealer fees and so on. I can easily see myself putting about $1,500 or so into this car to get it back into prestine condition, as well as replacing the tan carpet, not really a fan of it. I read all the advice on S2ki about what to look for when buying an S2k, and have followed it all, at least I think But back to the price after all the research 14k sound reasonable, but is it?

And if there is anyone is Denver that could inspect in for me and is well trusted please let me know.

Sounds about the normal price id try to get them down a tad more but 14k is fine. if the engine sounds like its ticking a little when its warmed up its not valves its your timing chain tensioner and that cost abotu 150 bucks you can install that yourself. i wouldnt even worry about the rock chips i might get the dent fixed though. just my thoughts

14k sounds okay...kbb says around 14k for excellent condition. considering this one has some dents chips...etc i would talk to price down to around 12.5k or if you can get 12k then its a steal. white is rare..

try hitting up the dealer to fix up the body work and paint chips, use the fact that the price has dropped and that all dealers have/use panel shops at "in house" discount.

I agree. The dealer may fix some of these things if they really want to make the sale

If all goes well, I'm set to pick up my second '01 s2000 on Saturday. This time around it's a gpw with 75k miles. Needs a new top but other than that, nothing too bad. Just a few nuts higher than $8000. I'm pretty excitied and crossing my fingers it doesn't show in person like a train wreck. Fair price?

I'm looking at a 2000 with 63k red on black. The top has been patched and I would probably want to get a new one with a window in the future... Everything is in good shape and I believe I can get it for $9600. Is this a good price?

if you must have an s2k for this summer driving season, it looks like a decent price, and it's relatively low miles for one of that year. Can you find cheaper, yes, you might be able to find some with 100k or 150 in the 7-8k range or even some lower mileage salvage title s2k's in the 6-8k range.
