I would pass on all but this one. The only reason is cause this was my old buddies (RIP Chad) I did all the maintenance to it and can say that the thought when I found this car again was crazy. I do hope it goes to a good home wheather it is to you or not. but hey just my 2 cents on grabbing a salvage title car.

The color is also wrong for the year. Laguna Blue was not introduced until 06.

Yeah so I am guessing it is an 05 s2000. It got rear ended / entire right side destroyed. Whoever fixed it up went with the cheaper option (AP1 door panels/ steering wheel) and got the whole thing repainted Laguna Blue (not sure why they didn't repaint it to original Suzuka blue).

Sorry to hear about your friend. Were you the one that fixed it up after the accident? If so, I would like to PM you on a few things.

Yeah, I also saw that link you posted. I could not get a hold of the seller though...

I ran a CARFAX of the other salvage (05 red 56k miles) in Dallas. It had 5 owners across 4 different states. Was stolen once then recovered. Wrecked TWICE before being issued a salvaged title this past february.

I wouldn't recommend buying a salvage car. If anything happens to it, insurance will try to give you pennies on the dollar because its so hard to find comparables. Also they are very very hard to sell. I wouldn't do it.

Did you call to find out the miles, it's hard to validate a price without that info.

Just a couple things i noticed really quick, the only "custom" modification is not just the intake, the car definitely looks lowered. And that isn't a Mugen hardtop. It's OEM or OEM Style. For that price on an 06 WITH a hardtop, i'm assuming it's either in bad shape or the mileage is crazy high. Plus it's GPW which usually commands a premium too.

Do you due diligence on this one before you make a decision to buy it. Good Luck!
