-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
That's actually a very good price, assuming the car is clean and in original condition. If you search around the web you'll see seller's asking around 18-20k for low mileage AP1's.

I am looking at a MY2001 Silverstone on red interior with ~28,000 miles. It is priced at $13,000. The car has a newer top with glass window. Is this a good price for it? Any thoughts of what a good offer would be? Thank you in advance.
Is 17k for a 2005 Rio 60k miles in excellent stock condition a fair price for California? KBB prices for the area has been steadily dropping the past month and now lists it as 16.3k but I don't know how accurate those are for California where prices seem to vary quite a bit.
I have always been a fan of the S2000 and in fact was the first car I learned to drive Manual on. I have always wanted a BLK/BLK and throw a few quality mods on, something to tinker with and tweak over winter. I have finally located one that suits me. 04 BLK/BLK with RPF1's and Buddy Club Coils, 106k miles. $14,000. What is a fair price to pay? Top has a hole.
So I've been researching for a couple of weeks now, and compared to what I see S2K's go for in my area, this one seems to be a "steal". Unfortunately, I don't have carfax, so I have no choice but to take the hour drive to check this out in person, is there anything I should be weary about?

^^ It's been modded. That's definitely not the stock air intake. Looks like CAI but the picture doesn't show the mfg mark on it so hard to tell which one it is.
Hopefully they used blue brake fluid or something, because otherwise the fluid reservoir is looking mighty dark.
