-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
Well, the rear window, while not perfect looks like it has been taken care of. Usually, if a top is shot the window be in really rough shape. So the car has been taken care of to a point. Remember, this guy needs cash and tops are expensive. Upgrades I see are the aluminum interior trim, accessory badges and 06/07 rims.
I would check it out. Every convertible will need a new top at some point in its life. Just because the top needs to be replaced doesn't mean that the car was trashed. If I wanted to sell my S2000 and it needed its top replaced I wouldn't replace it either. He wouldn't be getting his few thousand dollars back in the sale.

What should I look for when i go look at it tomorrow? I'm going to try to get the money tomorrow through a loan, and then after work I'm stopping at the bank, grabbing the money, and heading out there, what should i look for specifically to avoid high repair costs?
Can I get some insight?
07 with 29k. Second owner bought it with 1500 miles on it. Garage kept, not driven hard at all (owner is an older woman). I would have to fly out to where it is and drive 2000 miles back.
After all is said and done I am looking at $24k. She is firm on price.
Yes? no?

This advice goes out to ALL prospective buyers!
Hello, I would like to get opinion on how much would you pay for an 2001 with 70k miles? It's in all stock condition (including original plastic top) and assuming it's in great condition with normal wear and tear like rock chips. Also, the car is in California.
Thanks!
Thanks!

That's alot for an 00 I would keep looking. I wouldn't pay 9000 maybe 7000 but idk what else the car needs. I'd keep looking if it were me.

I did think that might have been the spirit of his comment. On the other hand I don't like people devaluing our cars so much.
