-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
Yes. Always worth.
Just kidding. You gave literally no details other than the location and price. Damage to the rear panel is quite vague. If it's a 2008 CR with 5k miles on it and it got salvaged because someone stole it, then yes, you should buy it.

Hey guys so after a very long time saving up I have around $11k that I wish to spend on buying an S2k (which I've been wanting for about 4 years now!) I was hoping if you guys could give me your opinions on a possible few
For example:
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/4395128261.html
This ones an 03, 108k miles and is asking $12k
He writes
Major Tune up consist of these following things: I have receipts
Brand New:
4x Bridgestone Potenza
Alignment
Ceramic Break pads with it be resurface the rotors "Bled the breaks"
OEM Master Cylinder Clutch
OEM Knock Sensor
OEM Air Filter
All the fluids have been change "Transmission, clutch flush and differential"
Goodyear Gator Drive Belt
Thing that irked me is that he wrote "break" pads haha

How’s this one?
2006 NFR.
65,000 Miles.
$19k OBO
Says it needs a new top? Doesn’t look too bad in pictures.
The rest of the car looks clean.

Hey, so I'm in the market for an s2k in the hopefully not too distant future and I've come across this one a few times now.
http://orlando.craigslist.org/cto/4417586161.html
Summary:
03 silver with 76k miles. Damage to driver headlight, fender, door, and bumper.
Asking 6k
CoD. Only reason I'm entertaining it is that in here kentucky you and salvage and then rebuilt title a CoD car.
If this asking is grossly out of proportion, I've found my self to justify it in my head more just because of how much I want it, rather than looking at the pure value
But thanks for any help and suggestions.

How much is it worth?
Maybe ~$17,000 tops if everything checks out without need for a replacement top
$16,000 at most if it only needs a new soft top, but everything else is good including no accident history or damage.
Also, I'd ask for full size pictures before making the drive.
