So I'm looking at a 2003 Red s2000 bone
Stock with 12,500 miles. The person is asking 22k for it which I believe is well over priced for the car. Just wondering what would be a good price to offer for it. Kbb and nada have the car sitting at about 16k

Thanks

i would not paty more than 17k for the car. people seem to be asking too much for a good condition s2k now a days. thats just my opinion. i would not mind paying a bit more for a clean car.

I think 22 would be more fair, but then again, it's an 09 in a bad ass color. 1 of 84

I'm not saying this car is bad, but last time I went there (msportmotors) to look at a GPW AP1 there it turned out to not be a GPW but a former Suzuka Blue (interior was still blue) with not a single VIN sticker anywhere. Experiences like this soured me on buying from used car lots...

If they agree on price absolutely make sure you take it somewhere else to inspect the car first.

I have been on this market on and off looking for my perfect s2k. However, recently I found out my friend was selling his s2000 due to financial reasons. Before we go any further, here are some details about his car:

2006 Laguna Blue S2000
22k miles Clean Title

Cons:Small scratch on rear bumper and driver door.
When turning sharply at speed my friend told me he hears some noise?

Would it be fair for me to pay 21k if he can resolve to noise problem he is talking about? OR am I just stopping myself from getting a great deal on an ap2?

Your knowledge and tips would help!

Thanks!
