02 Suzuka Blue with just under 65k miles. Looks to be nearly or completely stock and no immediate issues from pictures. Haven't checked out the car yet, but am going today. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4495250114.html

How does $14k sound?

Sounds fair, definitely not the $16.5k from the ad.

I'm looking at a 2006 in Laguna Blue Pearl with 25,143 miles, 2 owners with clean carfax and an OEM hardtop. It looks to be in good condition but I haven't seen it in person yet because it's out of state. They're asking $23,800 for it which seems like a really good deal considering the low mileage and hardtop. I'd have to pay the taxes, tag and title in my home state so the out the door price at the dealer is just $23,800.

How much does the OEM hardtop cost new?

Thoughts on this "deal"?

- said Soft top completely replaced in 2010 under warranty due to pinhole on fabric that bothered him.

I drove it yesterday and seemed fine. Popped vtec in 1-3 gears. Cruise Control worked fine and brakes felt ok. Could use an alignment but overall engine sounded tight. Only issue with car that i found was windshield sprayers didnt work, but wipers were fine. (minor fix). And since he doesnt have an OEM cover, the antenna is bent somewhat.

we agreed on $26k, but i was curious if this is too high. I really want the car, but looking for some input. My search has been quite a PITA.

Well 2 years ago I paid $27K for my 2009 with 31K miles. Mine had no issues at all. One owner (>60) bone stock, Arizona car. Perfect condition. It is Rio Yellow.

That's a very good price. Rare color, Oem hardtop and low miles. It shouldn't last much long at that price.

OEM Hardtop is no longer available new however used one's sell for around $3,500 these days.

Good thing I've already secured the car today. I financed a part of it through State Farm and had my agent forward my info to the dealer so all I have to do is inspect and test drive the car and then pay them.

They're a luxury/ exotic used car dealer and they got the S in a trade in. That might have something to do with the low price.

The only thing I'm not fond of is it has the XM radio antenna/ box thing on the trunk. Are those easy to remove without damaging the paint?

just talked to owner of this one...car was purchased at auction (said it was trade in yr ago to a BMW dealership) and be purchased as person car (he owns dealership can see in pics) but never titled so techically 1 owner. does this in anyway make this bad? never got a car that was auction car so makes me leary.

Note that it has an AP2 front bumper, so either it had some front end damage which they fixed or they swapped out because they liked it's look better. You should check for VIN tags on the rest of the car as well as inspect the front bumper supports for signs of damage.

Otherwise $14k sounds like a good price for the car.

thanks for that..i didnt notice it..i asked the owner about the bumper...he said he added it which is weird bc in add only mentioned intake/exhaust as additions. said the original just had scratches. since im not local ill prob pass since between that and being auction might not be worth the drive. Love the red int and mileage at 14k though.
