I offered 26K, but the dealer said no inspection by Honda as they had to many people interested. Said thanks, but no inspection, no purchase.

Wow that looks clean!
Socal car too.
You’re gonna pay a premium no matter what.

The numbers already discussed seem fair to me... $25-26K...

So clean...and so rare to find with the low miles...they could easily ask more and just sit for the right buyer to come around... Someone will overpay for it if they are patient...

I agree. It's a dealer and they never come down unless it sits way too long then you'll see a price drop then vultures will scoop it up.

If you want it, go check it out and try your best offer.

Bring a "expert" buddy to help out and lend an eye out in case you missed something from excitement.

Greetings folks.

I'm looking at a 2002 SBM with 95K miles on it. Seller is asking $11.8k. Any opinions? Does this seem fair?

I've seen the excellent sticky post on what to look into before & after buying one.
Based on the Craigslist ad of this car, is there anything that would concern you?

Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

I'm new here from the ft86club forums. I was a FRS owner for a little over a year and a half now and I've decided that it just wasn't the car for me. Ever since I was young I've had a passion for s2000s in the Need For Speed games, and I'm going to pursue that passion. Meanwhile saving some money and getting a Harley .

Anyways, here is the potential AP2 that I've been eyeing. I'm not the greatest of all mechanics but I know a bit of the basics and I definitely want to learn more. I've viewed the long thread on "What to look for when buying a used s2000" but what are the most important things I should be looking at before I buy the car and it turns into a cash dump that is undrivable?

Thanks,
Potential New Owner.

Welcome to the Forums! By the looks of it the passenger seat is gonna have to be replaced or at least the bolster.
