Highly doubt it was just the front passenger side. The trunk/driver rear qtr/bumper fit is way screwed up. The passenger airbag cover is glued back together, probably doesn't have a bag under it.

Are there replica spoon hardtops? Cause I can't see somebody with such a ratty car spending the money on the real thing.

Idk, iIll have to see it in person and run the vin. Its still a little tempting, because I could prob talk him down to 5k or so.

 

It was great but looking at the bottom line (money) I was saving myself 10k+ in the long run and Ive always loved the s2k.

 

I think it's best to be patient, and keep looking. I got mine for 13.5k with 49k miles on it. These cars tend to be inflated when it comes to price, check the nada score. Kbb is super inflated

 

Seeking some expert advice. I'm in the market for an S2000. I recently took a look at a 2003, Berlina Black, 35,000 miles, two owner, good condition. A dealer has the car and is asking $18,700 out-the-door. Looking for some insight on this price point. Should I pull the trigger or keep looking?

What part of the country are you on? Do you know anything about the previous owners?
If the car is aesthetically and mechanically flawlessit could be worth that. 2003 is a good year for the S2000 (AP1, glass rear window).
I would be weary if it's heavily modded,etc.
Take the car for an inspection with an independent, reputable dealer,before you buy.

None of the fluids have been changed i bet 100$. Thats 10 year old coolant, diff gear oil, trans fluid, etc. Price that into your purchase as well as a cabin air filter, air filter, and immediate oil change.

 

I've been looking to buy an AP2 for a while now, but haven't quite found the one that speaks to me.. I have my mind set on getting an 06 and up s2k. With that said I came upon a guy that's selling a BB 07 S2k clean title for 13.5K, but the bad part is that it has 147,000 miles on it! Now I know that's a pretty good deal for an 07 but what do you guys think about the mileage? Should I test it out and see how it feels or should I steer clear??? Any input will be appreciated. Thank you..

 

What do you mean you're worried about the miles? Just broken in I say
