Been searching myself for a couple of months and this BB has been on CL the entire time @ $30K with 50K miles:

Seems pretty steep (even with the hardtop)

That is pretty high, it's CR high... Granted if the car's in great condition it'll go up but I think he's trying to dump the mods into the final price of the car.

Cars that have been in accidents and had body work performed tend to be cheaper than those that have not. That CR has been for sale for almost six months now.

Do you know something about this car? Would love to hear it I drove it on Friday night but didn't pull the trigger because the stealership felt dodgier than usual

Just what I can see from the pictures.

Rear bumper is missing the VIN sticker but fortunately the trunk lid still has one. It was likely a minor fender bender and/or parking lot incident since only the rear bumper needed to be replaced or repainted but the trunk lid did not. You can always verify whether it's still the factor bumper by looking and seeing if the sticker is still there and just painted over.

Also, the front end doesn't look right either. It's missing the Honda emblem, which I know a lot of people go for the shaved look, but if you look at the picture closely on their website the small gap between the hood and the front bumper looks completely off and I'd wager the front end is missing some VIN stickers as well. You can always go back and count and see if all ten are there.

For their asking price the CR should be near flawless IMO. Certainly not one that has been involved in at least one incident.

Wow, this is enlightening, thanks!

I'm not sure where the VIN stickers are supposed to be on the bumpers. Is there a thread that would walk me through all the VIN stickers?
