Hey guys, first post.

2004 S2K w/ 120k miles for $11000 w/ Tracy exhaust. Is it worth it? I plan on selling the exhaust if that helps. Stock engine, lowered on springs.

Thanks!

I am in the market for a s2000. My friend is selling his 2001 with 110k miles for $10000. The top has been replaced about 5 yrs ago at the dealer. The tranny was rebuilt @ 96k. I ran it in KBB and its worth $9000 for "very good condition". The seats have some wear and there's some minor scratches and on the body (bumper - on the bottom).

The car is currently leaking a little oil but the owner believes the valve cover gasket needs to be replaced.

The car is completely stock. Do you think it's worth it for $10k?

If your friend fixes the oil leak 1st, then yes.

Agree your friend must fix the oil leak first. Leaking a little oil is like a "little bit pregnant."

But I hate to buy things from friends and usually refuse to sell them anything but new-in-box items. Friendships can be ruined if you/he think he got stiffed in the deal when it breaks down...

I found a 2002 with the following details:

-60k miles
-Original owner
-All maintenance records available
-Clean Carfax
-garaged its whole life
-The owner is currently in his early 70's
-He has only been driving the car 100 miles since 2006 to keep it registered
-It looks mint from the pictures

He is asking 25k but told me he would take the best offer. What do you guys think this car is worth?

Wow this guy is out of his mind if he thinks he'll get anywhere near 25k for a 60k mile AP1. I don't tend to put too much stock in the 1-owner cars so to me I wouldn't pay more than 14 or 15 depending on how it looks in person. But that's just me. Opinions will differ of course.

Hey guys, I'm new to the s2000 world but I have been looking to buy one, and I found one for a decent price. I think. I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place, But apologies if I am.

Anyway I found a 2000 s2000 on CL. The motor was swapped and has 85,000 miles and the body has 2205,000. It has a hard top on it, and doesn't come with the soft top. It has exhaust and was de-cated he said that it's throwing a code because of the cat, but wasn't 100% sure. That's about it, he wants 7000 for it, and I really want someone who knows a lot about them to tell me if it would be worth it or not?
I would really appreciate it! And sorry again. If this isn't the right place for this thread, I'm a noob.
