-Official- Is this car worth it thread - vol. 2
Yeah post the name of the dealer everyone from Socal hates that dealer. I cant remember the name of it and I’m too lazy to look it up. haha
They always seem to have cars priced really low too, but everyone who’s had experience with that dealer will tell you to stay away.

I am in agreement with everyone above, if you have a bad feeling, just walk away. especially if dealer has bad reviews, that's always a bad sign.
I guess if you're dead set on it, have the S inspected at a Honda dealer or independent that knows alot about S2000 before purchase, well worth the $200-$400

Went to check this one out over the weekend.
The good, had a buch of aftermarket parts but not the cheap ebay stuff. Sounds nice with the exhaust not a loud annoying whine. Was pretty quick with the 4.77 gears and it handled great due to the suspension. Didnt see any rust anywhere. The guy seemed like a responsible adult owner and he owned the car for two years in which he did less than 10k miles.
Now the bad, the body is not in the best condition. The bumpers are all ap1 and since the lights everything are ap2 the bumpers do not line up completely. There are a lot of scratches and chips in the paint all over the car. The soft top is worn but no tears anywhere. Same with interior but no tears on anything. Has an aftermarket pressure plate which made shifting a workout but thats more a personal issue not the car. Also noticed that the hood would vibrate when in idle, not sure why.
I will post more pics of the scratches I took later. The guy also said that he had the body damage quoted at a local Honda tuning shop, forgot the name, to be repaired for 500 bucks so that's not so bad.
The asking price was 11500 but so far talked him down to 10500.
I think for 10k it would be a good deal but what do you guys think?

Please chime in if you any any opinion on this purchase. I'm looking at a Silver 2005 AP2 that is bone stock and has 112k on the clock. It drives very well and looks damn clean to boot. Clean title and 2 owners.
Is this a decent price for this car? As far as I can see, it has no issues.
