Doesnt look too bad, the front bumper isn't original, I'd ask if the other body panel vin's match.

Plastic roll hoop garnish has been split, probably from when they installed the 02-09 glass window soft top. No way to repair that, but you can probably find used ones for $100.

Center console has a newer vinyl/leather cover, stock should be carpet for that year.

Front fenders don't appear to be rolled or damaged.

Seems like a good price for fairly low miles. Find out why the front bumper was replaced, get a compression test, have a good mechanic put it up on a lift for inspection. If that checks out and it drives good, I'd buy it.

Hi all,

New the forum, and looking to buy an S2000. I'm taking a look at the car this weekend. Overall car looks like it's in great condition, but I think the listed price is too high. What's a fair amount to offer? As far as I can tell, prices for S2000s in the SF Bay Area are, for the most part, inflated and above KBB.

Listing Here
  • ~66,100 Miles
  • Silver
  • Clean Title
  • Car is completely stock
  • Clean title, no accidents
  • Black Interior

If the owner is in no rush to sell I think he'll get his asking price.

$17-18k would be a good price, if everything checks out.

2005, 73k miles

Spoke with the dealer representative on the phone, no red flags there. I asked if there were any modifications, and he said the exhaust is probably aftermarket (and the radio). Also got the Carfax, which showed an accident where right side hit a traffic sign. That was in 2008 at ~14k miles. It has had 8 owners, the last few have had it for around 4 months to 1 year.

Thanks!

Meh. You should be able to find a similar S2k without the baggage of 8 owners and an accident and for about the same or a little more $.

8 owners makes you think.
