The top looks decent though. Their list price is $13,500. Would a car like this be worth it? It's an attractive price for an ap2 but I know those things would bother me so I would fix them asap. You guys think I have any room to possibly go down?
You can do a lot better, I'd say $11-12k, maybe. The car was crashed 8 years ago and never fixed, think about how the rest of the car was maintained.

Physical condition does not always equat to mechanical, so have a typical mechanical inspection done. Compression, under-body check, etc.. If it all checks out, offer them $11k expect to end up around $12K. Is it a super deal? No but is a nice running s2K worth 12k? In my world yes.

2005
90k miles
The title is clean but it was in an accident - front right. The owner says all is repaired ok, but I haven't verified in person yet. No obvious flaws like a hole in the top that I'm aware of yet.
If the repair checks out ok and the car is in advertised condition, what's a good price? Current asking is $15,500.

Saw this on local craigslist.
Is 2000 S2000 silver 23k miles for $16.8k good price?
2 owner no accident. All stock with dealership maintenance record.
KBB shows $15.7k for very good condition.

For what it is worth I have been looking at S2000's and I think over $20K for a car that needs a top and has a lot of chips is over-priced. Fix those issues is my advice, then look at getting about $20K. I also think missing the stock wheels detracts from the price. Just my 2 cents, GLWS!!!

That sounds like a sweet deal on an AP1. I would look at it very closely, but somebody will jump on that quick.

KBB doesn't mean much with these.

I once saw a 300lb hooker trying to charge $500/hour. Maybe she was worth it, it was Amsterdam.
The used/collector car market is in a bubble. This car is probably worth the new car price with less than $1k miles, but I'd rather have one with 20k on it for $10k less. Cars are meant to be driven!
