My condolences regarding Schaumburg Honda. That's the dealer that is technically "mine" as well, as it is the one closest to me. However, the reports from people who have been there have been uniformly bad. Grand Honda in Elmhurst seems to "get it" a little more. I have to bring the car in for a few things anyway (seat belt actuator, 1-2 grind, driver's side window not going down with the top, and oh yeah an oil change), so I'm going to try Motorwerks to see how good they are. Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, and Honda. I THINK they might know how to handle high performance cars (and their owners).

Brought my car to the dealer for the 1/2 grind, rear windows replacement due to "fold marks" and the seatbelt replacement. They did everything with no hassels. Now I have them replacing the entire top of the dash because mine has some small "bumps" on it. Looks like some type of manufacturing defect.
Be nice to your service manager and explain your situation and they should work with you on your window. If not try another dealer.
