I was wondering how about the VQ35DE from the 350z......I'm not sure if it'll even fit but I think that would be bad ass if a S2000 had that motor

I'm surprise no one has taken your offer yet though.....I'd take your offer but don't have any funds....It's a shame too b/c I'll be heading back home to florida in a few weeks.

Wow, is that faith?? Thanks man, i think maybe i deserve a little credit anyway huh? The 2JZ s2000 wasnt easy guys, i did that just to see if i could. Start to finish in 31 days. Its not (hacked) in there either, which all you that go to NOPI this year will see. Noboby has been up close to this car, or drivin this car to be able to even say something like that. The only problem this car has is speed limit signs and cops! It performs as good as it looks, and turns heads everywhere it goes. This idea i had is now a reality, and that feels great! Id like to do another similar swap into a s2000. The k series engine has me curious. There are no points to prove here, this is all for fun. Just trying to give you guys something new to look at. Im listening to everything you all are saying, and processing all this before i do another. Meanwhile, thanks for all your feedback, good or bad.
Anymore vids of your s2k? ive seen the one vid...but im curious to see how the traction and handling are...

putting in a K20 is kind of reverse engineering isn't it? F20 is basically a more highly tuned K20.

The K-series came after the F-series and therefore the K incorporates more advanced technology than the F..namely iVTEC. The K also has greater tuner support since it is more widely used...the K tuners offer proven cams for reasonable prices.

Well, i bolted up the k to the f20 today, got my adaptor plate finished, now waiting on custom mount brackets to bolt right onto the s2000 motor mounts, ill keep you all posted on the progress, still no car to put it in yet, but all the measurements are completed. Ive decided to go with it, i want to go 1/4 mile on youtube stock for stock, COMPLETELY stock for stock motors at first, and well mod them as we go to make $ for $ hp comparisons, thats the plan anyway. We'll update the vids as we mod the two cars. I think this will be intresting, theres been alot of negativity with the k20 in the s2, but lets just see for fun! This shouldnt take long to complete. Thanks for your input guys!!!

Very interested to see how this goes.

Not sure why there's so much opposition in this thread.

That's a k-series too...and not as good as some of the other k-series motors. It's iVTEC is on intake side only.
