actually its not the tires that do anything in a lightning strike its the car frame

and its lightNing not lightLing

also being in FL ive drivin the S in some heavy rain and it was fine (soft top) a couple little drips in the usuall places

lighting hitting a car is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard. yea it happens once in a while but electricity will strike in the path of lest resistance. so even a house will be better suspect of lighting strikes.

and a car being on tires which is rubber and not a good conductor, you wont feel a thing. unless you are actively touching the frame of the car.
