Yeah mpge is basically take the price of a gallon and see how far that will get you in your BEV
So a gallon is 526p at the mo, if you pay 15p per kw that is 35kw and if that gets you 100miles of shifty you are at 100mpge
Where the M3 did 18.. that would be it's range on the e battery
now.. if you drive down the price of your kw, which you can unlike petrol.. boom. And it flattens the demand so helps renewables like wind which are going at night. Potentially
Plus you can get free juice as discussed
Here is what yours looks like clean btw.. I nicked this off that FB group. Ahem
Thanks for reminding me what it could look like ...
My mpge has dropped with the last charge and now stands at £10.14 for 543 miles so I make that 282 mpge.
This past few weeks with no wind wholesale electricity prices have sky rocketed. I had to pay 11p/unit for my last charge 21kWh. Spoiling my average
Yesterday not one but two peak periods. The usual peak period 4-7pm at 35p/unit but also 11am-3pm at that rate.
Praying for wind me edit: not to mention hoping we get through the winter!
The 5 looks pretty good outside, build quality? wife will ignore it as she has the alternatives as she has no interest in an auto, why, who knows?
its not an auto, its a 1 speed
i never liked autos, the dct changed that but i bottled that as i was worried about BMWs ability to build a lasting unit. Maybe it was outsourced? But this makes driving so easy, the ultimate urban dodgem
Last weekend I got a sniff of a deal and took the plunge
delivered Friday and straight into the S2s kennel for some carlack, zaino and p21s
I went for Electric Blue (those of a certain age will snigger) because she liked it and I was on the fence between the monochromes
It's ridiculous really, can never be an only car but I really like it
