Honda e
Not feeling the love for the colour
I haven't had a non monochrome car for over 20 years so it's a change for me
there is a red one in Japan but we don't get it
Regardless the other half is on the conversion path. I'm sorta hopeful the SUV idea dies, if the e kills the SUV it would be value at double the price to me
now all we need is no more ****ing lockdown..

Have you tried your lad on feeding the fishes yet? IYSWIM (I notice your dealer didn't do very well in the 'fit the rear plate centrally' contest!)p.s. all shop carparks here the white lines are too worn to autopark
Maybe a trip to Next (not to shop of course plus the car park will be fairly empty)
Not true, she did want blue. You can get any colour for 25k, there was a black one at a Kia franchise oddly but not sure that colour does it justice.. also plenty of cheap gangsta Grey's which I ordered originally
my local dealer had the yellow demo I drove up for 26.6 but have just dropped to 25. More realistic I think. Maybe 22k is right for mustard?
I think it's a buyer's market at the mo, it saved me 5k of depreciation give or take but it's all paper money if the car lasts. I tend to keep for years.
The dog is on the fence on my choice but everyone else likes. Nina has not exceeded 25mph yet
.
The fish were explored as it arrived
As a city car it works really well, charges fast, drives well. I think Honda will struggle on the software side and be nowhere near Tesla but the hardware is, imo, better. Drives like a dodgem/go kart and very refined ride for a small car
Auto parking works fine here, I had some twunt in a kumkwat go round me as it was reversing and it didn't bat an eyelid. I did but I won't repeat my utterance.
Its not one size fits all, it's one size fits city.

The S2000 was over priced on release which they fixed
Still a lifelong memory driving down St Martins Lane and then along the Strand top down on New Years Eve in my first. The grim sordid details of money pale into insignificance - do you like the car enough or not? For me it passes that test overwhelmingly. Haven't smiled as much for 20 years.

against the backdrop of covid Honda have suffered a catastrophic dump in this country, look at the Dec data.. all the Jazz buyers croaked with covid maybe?

ultimately if you drive it, you will probably like it. as Rog says
compared to an Audi A1 sportline at 26k it looks a deal to me

but it's not for everyone, 100%. If you have a big dog you are fooked for example

no wonder the supraBMWpeiceOfPap is so much dollar
Yep, £27-28k way back when, and that remained the case right up to the end in 2009 (though great deals were done to shift the last of them).
They were priced enough below the Boxster and Z4 to allow fo the "low rent" Honda badge.
They need to discount vs the E-Mini in particular, but that does not seem to be the case.

At the launch of the S2000 in 1999 it was close to £30k OTR price.
Price was dropped next year by about 10% where it stayed.
So this is not the first time Honda has stung me
Must start buying with my head ...

I paid £25k dead for mine in 2000. 15 weeks delivery. I did get £500 discount from the dealer in Harlow who was unfashionable at the time , some hear commented how tatty the dealership was , they were in my opinion good, unlike the mob in Colchester who I initially placed an order with and they tried to con my into paying for the SS tail pipes , fancy pedals and aero screen which had all become standard , no discount either.
still pondering an EV I love the E , but range is voefully poor , need to go back and forth to south London on occasion and the wife would be on tenterhooks all the time.
so still looks like Kia or Hyundai , trouble is so far few if any discounts
any interest got any views on the future of discounts , I am sure you can get derv and petrol cars free with a packet of cornflakes at the moment.

having said that the S2 was an acquired taste too i suppose. Many have had more than 1 though. I would buy another

the range was 220 miles on a full tank
