Last fill up 0.14p for 11.2 kWh which left the vehicle 100% charged with range 126 miles. This was pessimistic from subsequent use.

You are showing what can be done Rog .. any investment in a smart charger hooked up to Octopus would have a long payback for us currently though. I started the chat with them...
Plus i maybe can't do it with a careless 66% in the house
But at 4miles/KW and 15p we are talking 140mpg+

My old CRF250M did 90 and ran on fumes. Incredible really.

Bike rack ordered from Cox.. I now have a target

Plugs.

Her CB400SF was being an utter pig - did nothing other than change out the plugs and it fired right up and idled perfectly. Turns out it had never had a set.

Right.. so I started the physical bit. Not too difficult, only odd bit was having to cut off a couple of bits of metal. The lower, inner brackets fit into subframe sections.

Getting the bumper off the tabs was a bit stressy as it gave no indication on how it came off in the instructions

Very solid. I wonder whether you lose some crumple zone.
wiring next

A lot of towbars we fitted at Kia we’re bolted in place of a crash bar* similar to the one you have removed so I have to assume that it does the same job in the event of a crash.

* I had loads of these kicking about in the stores so I used to part number them and hand them out to Bodyshop’s as a freebie to get rid.

Loving the tartan blanket.

This is very limited load and you can see why. 3 little bolts each side at the top, one each side clamping each subframe for the lowers and a grip on the rear tow eye
overall a bit of a pain to fit but decent design, loom was easy though not tested yet. The removable tow bar has keys made of cheese.. or a key now

Other than that and some wrong handed instructions all ok. Never a 2.5hr job though

The arduous bits
cutting the rear subframe tabs needs a grinder with cutting disc and touch up paintCutting the bumper is scaryyanking the battery means nowt works, including the frameless window duck.. be aware, get all windows down
other obs.. honda don't paint bits you can't see even worse than they used to
I'm glad it's detachable
pretty it aint

Like the dual purposed dog cushion

Similar deal up front on our Smart to fit the A frame tow points/strengthened crash bar. Bit more weight there though. Of course I didn't actually fit that

Loom was simple, new fuse, intercept both rear clusters and run the tow loom through a pre existing hole after pulling grommet out
now I just need a rack.. it's subtle once removed, the towbar is a detachable locking thing

Dogs blanket from my mum

Its more sturdy than collapsing tin item so will behave differently I guess but more old skill
Makes sense re fitment but you would not wanna tow anything heavy for sure

That looks very subtle and presume that the bracket/rack/aux number plate will stay on, or will it be fitted every trip?
Am thinking toe rags nicking it while you're parked up. Though there won't be the market doesn't stop tools alas.
