Hey Version, wanna take guesses on what my peak hp is gonna be with these Jenvey 50mm ITB's I just won??

I'm gonna get before and after dyno's done, but I'm figuring with the test pipe and ITB's all tuned properly, I should hit 225 rwhp, with a whopping thick midrange...what's your guess?

Please do a before and after...it would be really nice to see what the gains actually are with ITB's

IMO 'C U AT 9K' s setup is quite ideal. It is a nice sounding exhaust, with a matched header, and a good intake. I'm sure he is making decent power with it, and it is also something very nice to drive (assuming you have the R1 not R1000) and look at. It isn't the max hp, but it is a great balance between added hp and daily driveability. I'm sure with just those mods 210-215 might be what he is at, then with a testpipe and tuning 225 is probably within reach.
225 thats it?!?! ****!! That sucks.

Seriously though, thanks a lot for the comments, that helps to hear what I'm doing is right haha. Every once in a while I get buyers remorse for spending so much when I could have already been turbocharged, but I guess doing what I'm doing is the "road less taken", and I'm real happy so far. I drive around town in NJ and in Philly and i'm all good. I think people outside my car are more annoyed than I am, since the R1 is pretty loud. I dont even have my headers on yet

Anyone know anything about the ASM test pipe? I feel like an asshole keeping my berk stainless steel TP inbetween my Amuse titanium pieces (I keep imagining the titanium is going to melt together with the stainless steel and ruin my exhaust/headers lol ), and I msg'd Ben at bulletproof about getting the Amuse TP but apparently Amuse stopped making them (the bastards!). Do different test pipes work better/worse than others?

I'm looking at it right now ( http://www.nsptuner.com/product_info...oducts_id=2361 ), is it even a test pipe or just an ASM cat?

ARC makes a Ti one. Is the J"s one titanium? Am I just being obnoxious??

^ If the test pipes are the same diameter, there shouldn't be any differences. We are only talking about a ~18" straight piece of pipe here.

I agree with the two above. In a testpipe, it doesn't matter what one you get. Just stay with your Berk. ALL of the testpipes are just, as said a 18" piece of metal pipe. It doesn't matter if its titanium, stainless, whatever. They don't have bends, and they all work just fine, none any different from the other. I had mine custom made when I had one on the car.

When/If I buy another, I will be getting the T1R however, this is because I can bolt the stock cat heat shield to it, and it'll look like a cat...which is good for many reasons.

And I said 225 because the exhaust is not a 70mm exhaust, and the header isn't known for HUGE gains, and the intake isn't particularly a massive gainer either (though I would get a comptech if I wasn't going to SC). But all the mods are good, just not the biggest at gaining hp, better at gaining overall power. But, like said, run a baseline now, then get tuned and see what you put down.

Yep...Amuse is more of a mid-range gainer...so your peak numbers wont sky rocket with it, but you will feel the difference.

And no, you shouldn't have gotten the R1000 because then you would have been more disappointed when it was too loud and you got sick of it, where as with the R1 you'll be happier for longer.
