Bumping your compression to 11.3:1, 93 octane should still be plenty fine. Like I said before, I don't know of anyone off the top of my head that's running one though.

Man I miss the S, and i'm drifting back towards getting a brand new one. At the same time I keep thinking that if I hold back for a little longer I can see what happens with the supposed new 08 s2k in the works.

version those are some high numbers. I wonder why each year puts down a bit more then the others. Now I just hope companies come out with parts for the new models quickly. I'm really thinking about dropping some itb's as soon as i purchase them.
My guess to the increase in power is Honda keeps re-mapping the ecu each year from feedback it acquires through the year.

i've seen 3 06's make 215rwhp on dynojets stock. 06+ are the stongest s2k's by far.
Actually, the MY04-05s tend to dyno a bit higher than the MY06's. This has been confirmed by Shawn Church many many times. I posted my dynapack of my '06 a few pages back, and the highest I was able to get was ~237 hp, whereas many '04-05s were hitting the low 240's according to Church.

I would, however, still look into purchasing an '06+ s2k for its programmable ECU (Hondata K-Pro will be coming out soon) as well as for its updated features such as its more durable leather seats, VSA control, etc.

What did you dyno for your torue numbers at church. My04 made 240hp on his dyno, but the most surprising part was that it also made 170torque.

VladmirL was running a thinner head gasket. His dyno was on one of the earlier pages. He didn't dyno before and after, so nobody knows exactly how much hp it added, but other cars with similar mods were making nowhere near as much power as he was. I don't think he visits the boards anymore though.

Interesting to know...I think I may go with krank vents and a head gasket as my next mod.

Racer's giant smiles won't happen if we steal the corner from him before he can get to it...I was successful in taking each 50th post for a short while at least
