it doesn't take that much money to get up there. I spent nothing on my AEM V@(gift), but it cost the person that got me it $200. Spent $1K on my hytech header, $100 for my test pipe, and $600 on my exhaust(custom made), and $800 for my flywheel and clutch set up, plus $40 for my hondata IMG. I dynoed on the hottest, most humid shittiest day after a 2 1/2 hour drive in stop go traffic to get to the dyno(can you say heat soak!!!!!!!!) and still put down mid 220whp. On a good day my car probably was making 230whp! And I did all that without any kind of ecu.
So that's about 230whp and I spent $1000+$100+$600+$800+$40=$2340
Not bad i'd say. Add another $1000 to it if I had bought an ems and I would have hit over 230whp for sure.
