For some stupid reason, my car is listed as a 2000. It's actually a 2002.

I shied away a bit from the EMS due to the less sophisticated cold start and idle maps. I do take the car out from time to time in the winter and it could be 15-20 degrees out.

I am unfamiliar with the Emanage, is it a standalone or a piggy back?

I think I would be very happy with high 220's to start.

Okay fixed my profile. It defaulted to 2000 Silverstone Used. Weird.

The E-manage is a piggy-back ECU that is reporting stellar gains, PM Twiztid if you need a tuner as I hear he's one of the best tuners in the country, and lives *relatively* close to you.... That dual is a sweet exhaust, if I had one I probably would not sell it -- but I'm a JDM freak so there ya go .

I would definately take the E-manage Ultimate over a VAFC any day, it's not that much more expensive and it really makes a big difference. As far as getting a J's ECU, it's my understanding that they don't work as well unless you're running high-octane fuel (like 100+), since that is what they sell in Japan.

And while the J's Intake is an awesome piece, it will not give you gains on the dyno since it is a ram-air setup, you have to be going fast to push enough air through it for it to really make a difference over the (already very well-designed) stock air box.

The good news, though, is that since you're in Canada the colder temps will help out your dyno #s!

Excellent. Just did some research on the Emanage, seems the best solution on the market for what I'm looking for, and not much more than the VAFC Neo, either. Plus I don't want an extra display to have to deal with. So:

1) J's header
2) Test pipe of some sort (T1R or Berk depending on diameter)
3) J's intake
4) Greddy e-manage

And then to follow up, 4.56 gears + yellow box.

I think this will be an excellent NA stage one tune. Any other suggestions? I'd love to get a new intake manifold, but it looks like no one is going to ever make one for our cars. . .

Excellent stage 1 N/A tune idea. I say throw all that on after your baseline and see what you get. For stage 2, I would suggest a flywheel, pulleys, and cams.

If I didn't have an Amuse dual R1, I would, but I don't think the couple hp is worth the big upgrade price. Maybe in the future.

It looks like the Emanage ultimate can control speedo calibration, so no need for a yellow box.

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.

Ok guys, I'll upload my excel data file if anyone wants to double check my math, but after running a plot of horsepower/rpm*5252 for every 200 rpm's, turns out my torque curve stayed the same shape, just grew by about 14 ft/lbs across the board. I'm now making 148.5 ft/lbs at 6200 rpm, vs the 134 I was before. I can't seem to get the x-axis to reference my rpm rows for labeling purposes, but whatever. That's not the point.

I thought I'd be making more torque than I am, but I guess not. 10-14 ft/lbs across the board from just changing the intake side of the engine is pretty decent though, so I gotta keep thing in perspective

Hey Version, I've got just a fly's ass hairs more torque than you
