you guys may want to edit the first post to include what has actually worked for you guys, and tips & tricks. not many people want to sift through a 116pg thread...

just a suggestion.

Thanks.

Want to give me some opinions on them? How hard were yours to tune?
somewhat easy to tune, but not all the bugs have been worked out yet. To make life easier, try to find a way to plumb your cold/fast idle air control valve into your vacuum block. Without it, cold starts are going to be a bitch, and take the car 3-5 minutes of warming up before you can drive it.

You may experience some low throttle backfiring...Rick at 2nrwerks thinks we just need to tweak the fuel decel tables a little bit. I'll probably be going back over to see them sometime mid december to get the part throttle setting re-tuned alittle bit.

Opinions...midrange is great We lowered VTEC down to 4800 on my car. The sound is absolutely insane, you cannot hear your exhaust at all, all you hear is a throaty gurgle at part throttle, and an insane wail under load, from the intake. I can't really describe the sound...it's awesome

since torque is a calcuation of horspower vs rpm, the loss in torque means that there was a loss in midrange somewhere in the 6000-7000 rpm range (I've been looking and messing with dyno sheets for so long I can tell what's up w/o even seeing the dyno sheet )
Peak went up, as is to be expected with a better flowing exhaust. There isn't really any way to get an optimal midrange and peak out of an exhaust...You have to go for one or the other. To me, the +4 hp peak out of a dual exhaust is a nice gain.

nah, engine refresh & head gasket next
then cams

I'm going to do things in an ass-backwards way...that way, when I finally do get an exhaust, it'll free up so much it'll net me like 20 rwhp

the t1r stuff works fairly decent, but from what we've seen in this thread, for n/a applications, if you insist on staying dual (like me), then the invidia is the way to go. It'll net you 5-7 rwhp peak on a healthy car, which is about all you can ask for out of a dual exhaust.

The invidia is kinda loud. The t1r sparrow has a nice mellow note to it.
