If you're gonna cough up the dough for a mugen ecu, why no pony up the extra $$ and get an AEM so you can control things yourself...

I've seen too many posts on here of their cars blowing up after putting in a jdm ecu. They have much higher octane's than us....

What are the average gains for a bolt-on car with EMS?

Seriously though...its funny to watch us all through this thread. And how we all kind of got where we wanted, but found out that the sacrafices weren't worth it and now want to have something more friendly.

Also, since the Ricks header is a direct copy of the Mugen. Look into that, that is probably what I will get, since it is really the same thing, but cheaper. That plus a Mugen SS exhaust is what I'm looking to do, though honestly, for all that money, I will probably end up with an SC first. We shall see.

Ohh and about the EMS, yes Version, just get an EMS, the mid range you gain with it is good, and it is safe, and you can adjust it for anything down the road...ie. F/I

I'll let you know, and this thread know that in the not TOO far away future. But I think its around 10whp, and a nice mid range jump....

on average
