According to Shawn Church, Hytech is the only aftermarket company with cams that made power all throughout the midrange and peak on Church's dyno. If I remember correctly, he said they made 16 hp all throughout the powerband, including peak.

ITB's would be awesome on an MY06+, but I wouldn't know how this could work since everything is DBW and controlled by the ECU now.

Oh, and get the GPW/red+black combo. It is definitely going to be the most desirable (and probably most rare) color combo out there for the s2k for its entire 8 year span, so if you do decide to sell it, your resale value will still be higher than most other s2ks. I would like to have waited for this color combo, but I couldn't wait so I settled for Silverstone, which was my next favorite choice anyway.

Why'd you sell your NFR again?

Well I have an aem replica laying around in my garage. I sold my aem v2 a while back because i was worried about hydrolock and I couldn't make the DB noise level at Laguna Seca with it.

Aren't ITB's like 4 grand? I'm sure they cost a lot to get tuned as well. Could cops get on you big time for having ITB's? Sorry, haven't really researched on em that much.

Yeah I'm thinking about getting a K&N drop-in soon. T1R header, and I'll think about a lightened flywheel.

Edit: btw, this is my daily driver, does it effect driveablility and reliability for daily use?
ITB's are a little more than 2 grand, and about another 650-750 for install and tune, depending on where you go. You also need an EMS to run them, though, and that's about $1600. I'm in FL, so I don't worry about cops. I have no idea if there are any ITB's that are carb legal.

As far as your last edit, does what effect driveability and reliability for daily use? ITB's? Yea. Cold starts suck. After that, it's all fun n' games Reliablility...I see no reliability issues. It's an intake system...not forced induction or internal components or anything. The worst thing that could happen is the linkage might (but doubtful, they're pretty beefy) break, leaving you with only a few operating throttle plates...but you'd be able to tell right away.

LOL! Good luck scoring a set of Toda ITB's!! Those things are hard as hell to come across. I really like my Jenvey's...Everything is adjustale on them, and they look saweet (At almost half the cost, too).

Could you possibly get that dyno from Shawn? I'd really like to see these. Do the hytech headers require a beefed up valvetrain?

I was thinking how ITB's would work with the whole DBW thing also. I'm sure companies will put out products soon enough.

I'm really thinking between GPW or BB

I really wanted to get rid of the S. I had beat that one to shit. The diff was ready to go, and the tranny had just gone through a rebuild after I blew my first gear up, but it didn't feel the same. I wanted to save some cash to for a little while until I was done with school. Have a year left. I figure I'll buy another car during my last semester in school and just have fun.
