Nate...what size primaries does that Comptech header have? That dyno chart might change dramatically given the volume of air you are pushing. Wouldn't something with BIG primaries (like the J's) be better?

Get the GFL a-arms!
Dunno. I'm gonna email them, but I'm pretty convinced just by design alone, that a 4-1 header is what I'm looking for. Traditionally race headers are 4-1 designs, for peak gains (longer primaries), so that's what I'm banking on right now. I might end up changing my mind before the time comes (exhaust needs to come first...T1R-70R Sparrow), but even that needs to wait a good, long while.

GFL a-arms....link please

Megan - cheap, and everyone that has them so far has loved them.
Bilstien PSS9's - still kinda cheap on ebay, everyone that has them loves them.
KW Variant 3's - a little more, everyone that has them loves them...

Those are your cheapies that I see everyone getting...

I'll be going for Bilstien PSS9's myself when I'm done futzing with the engine
no prob bro!

i want coils because my tanabe(which are shit) never settled correctly and my car sits uneven. the driver side sits .25 lower than the passenger side. i want esliper's and koni's, but sometimes i think it might be more cost effective to just get coils. i can get konis for about 500 through my work, and i know the springs are around 200.

I know the Megans are around $800, Bil PSS's around 900, PSS9's around 1100, KW 3's around 1700...

Sounds like the Megans are right in your ballpark...I say get those, and with the money you saved, buy a header (so you can discuss in my thread here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...=148&t=445570) and break that 230 mark you've been hunting for a year now

Not sure what will actually happen numbers wise. The 70R Sparrow has a 70mm b-pipe going to a 63mm dual. I am not overally concerned with losing a few horsepower, but who knows it may make some more. Also, the Sparrow will be quiter than the 70RT and I like the look of a dual better.

version, you should head up an official aftermarket exhaust thread, that way, between the 2 of us, they'll be no more questions about what header & exhaust works best, blah blah blah

...can you tell I'm really loving that emoticon?
