Just got back from Church's for a stock baseline dyno. What do you guys think?

I also learned a few things. They just dyno'd another AP2 with Hytech cams and gained 16 hp throughout the powerband. And there's also a Hondata K-Pro in development for the MY06 models

I also had the pleasure of seeing 2QYK's car on the lift awaiting his turbo install.

And ####, they really need a bigger Quay street sign. I missed it twice on the way there.

kenstyle I think those are huge dyno sheets! LOL

What did church say about your dyno. It's similar to my baseline done at church. I hit 170torque and 240-242hp

Yeah sorry about that. I forgot to resize them

Church said my '06 was the strongest out of all the '06s he's seen so far. But then again, I'm willing to bet he tells that to every one of his customers just so they feel special. He also said that for some reason the '04-05 AP2s dyno more power than the '06+ models. To be honest, I wasn't expecting anything more than 230 rwhp because that is the norm for stock AP2's.

2QYK, Shawn told me about the K-Pro being tested on your car. I had no idea it was supposed to be a hush-hush ordeal, but either way, I'm sure this announcement will please many s2k owners.

A weird thing is that he told me to upgrade my exhaust LAST because it apparently makes the least power. He advised me to do header, TP, aftermarket cams, tune, and then finally exhaust if desired. I find this odd because almost everybody in this thread has said nothing but good things about a single 63 mm or 70 mm exhaust. oh well

Your dyno is great...my modded (60mm single, testpipe, EMS, AEM V1, and comptech flywheel) is 2hp and 2tq less then your stock! Though, I never got a baseline, so I never really knew if church did anything for me. But either way, your dyno is great.

Like I've mentioned, I'll be baselining my car soon. I really just need to sell my EMS and exhaust to get some money to baseline. Then I will...and then I'll dyno after my subsequent mods.

Church told me his EMS-tuned AP1 with i/h/e and some other stuff only made around 228 on his dyno, so your numbers are definitely more than impressive.

Why are you getting rid of the EMS again?

The EMS just isn't for me. I'm not looking for max power out of the car just good all around useable power. Thus for me, the EMS has draw backs to is ability to be used daily. Don't get me wrong, when I was running it, it was fine for daily use, but the long cranking start, the higher idle, the occasional rough cold start or stall on a hot day with AC on, wasn't for me. In reality I could probably have had it all fixed with a re-tune. But I'd rather not put another $400 into something I don't REALLY want. Where-as I can put the money from the EMS into things I do want
