^^^How do you figure that? Since it's wheel HP, and the 4.77 gears make it easier for the engine to spin the tires, I'd think that gears would only help the situation...

Gears reduce driveline loss...
Doesn't it put less load on the engine?

yea, so the engine doesnt have to work as hard to spin the drivetrain, so the power "freed up" translates directly to the ground...

...at least that's how it makes sense in my mind...

But then he gained an extra 10 rwhp just by dynoing in 4th instead of 3rd. We all know that 3rd is a shorter gear than 4th, meaning that 3rd puts less load on the engine. So why did he gain 10 rwhp when the only change was he put more load on the engine?

BTW, next time you dyno, with the 4.77s, you should even do a pull in 5th.

I've done all my pulls in fifth. Going to do forth when I get a re-tune on the vafc. FreshS2k I think you'll be around the 220 mark. I've got everything except a header and I think thats what you need to go beyond the 220whp mark.

spare tire, tools, trunk carpet, front and rear reinforcement beams, carbon fiber hood trunk and fenders. im trying to get light weight wheels, battery and maybe carbon fiber doors and a header.
Have you weighed your current setup? I'm curious. My car weighed in at 2680 half tank of gas, no interior behind the seats, spare tire and tools gone, trunk carpet. What rims are you looking at?

I had 205 hp on the dyno and all the pulls were done on 3rd gear. My mods are VAFC II, Berk TP, Invidia V3, AEM V2.

tune! badly. You should be making more power then that. May be something wrong with the motor?

seriously! there is no reason that you should be running that lean at WOT...unless there is something i dont understand about the f20c...

add some fuel and add some timing!

you're thinking like a Turbo owner. the more you lean out an engine the more power it will make, to a certain point, and then BOOM! s2k's like to run leaner than average. for example, my WOT AFR is 13.9:1. my car loves it there. now on a boost application that kinda AFR would like pistons on the pavement, but on the s2k it makes the car ufcking scream.

I'm still trying to get used to seeing "lean" A/F's from my sc'er point of view. Any thoughts on what a stroked motor would like to see? I hope to get a little datalogging in Thursday(1052U).
