NOW I AM EXCITED FOR YOUR NUMBERS HVRRZ!!!!!
Man I can't wait...I'm like a baby waiting for a dyper change
I'm going to see if I can make an appointment to have it done this saturday instead of the next.
the only thing that's making me worried about the outcome is that I have no tuning ability to get the best out of my mods.

I wouldnt set the vtec too low... Just because it works for one car, doesn't it mean it will for another. 5400 is way too low.

I understand that what works for one car may not work for another...I didn't tell him to put it down to 5400 but try it lower. For my car 5400 was/is the sweet spot currently. It was on the dyno and power was measured at different settings, at 5400 there is NO drop in Torque or HP AT ALL and actually there is still an ever so slight hump, set at 5300 there is an ever so slight dip in the Torque curve maybe 3ft/lbs but no dip in the HP curve. So for my car 5400 was it, I could probably put it down to 5300 and adjust my timing a little further to take advantage of it...but for a 100rpm...its not really a big deal. 5400 works perfect for me and is not at all too low, the feeling is entirely linear as if there was never a VTEC kick there is no dramatic increase in power and there is no drop, it just pulls all the way. However I can still hear the high cam kick in, just don't feel it. Go back to page 23, look at my dyno graph...you'll see what I'm talking about
my car was orignally set at 5700 when it was first tuned. i have it raised to 5900 and it runs VERY well now. once i get emange and i can fiddle with timing, then we'll see what happens.
ya...without having it on a dyno its really not the best to mess with the VTEC because you really don't know if you are making the power curve better or not. And having the availability to adjust timing makes it much much better
I will also be testing a 6" velocity stack against the standard K&N air filter that comes with the FIPK system when I go to the dyno. There has been alot of praise on Honda-Tech lately about these velocity stacks giving great power gains. We will see if it is the same for the S2000.
