oh woops I don't know why I thought you were far off...

I never got a chance to get a quote. The day before I was going to head down to burn's stainless to talk with them about getting it done I saw the hytech for sale.

WHOO HOO! haha...thats awesome...all three of us right in the same ballpark. Its ok though, if Version is only getting 4.44's in the meantime and you some tuning device I should still be able to pull away from both of you.

My plan is for 4.57's

Anyway glad to see your numbers turned out good. As for a new badge, I think we should all wait until we break into the 230whp club as it is a little more elite You know...there are quite a few S2k's in the 220's but 230's N/A is much more scarce (until after we prove it possible without driveablity/reliability issues)

But then it will just be the 240's after that...anyway, I'm sad to say that I wont be getting any power adding mods for quite some time now, hardtop and 4.57's will eat up all the cash I need for the J's header and exhaust...but since TB's aren't too expensive I may be quick to add one of those this coming winter...we shall see.

silver thankx, and I agree about the badge being for the 230 mark. also I hink the hardtop and 4.56's are a better choice then going with the header, and exhaust. with the gears you'll kick our asses .

hmmm maybe I should get the 4.44's before the ems

hahaha

It's ok guys...I can't launch the car for shit, I've actually never been too good at drag racing, as I mentioned earlier in this thread, my current best with the car is a 14.2 and people run that stock...maybe the altitude and conditions effected that slightly and maybe I could run a 13.9 at sea level on a good day. But my problem is the launch...every once in a blue moon I'll get a good launch.

anyway I'm glad we are all doing this, if it were only one S2ki could say that our particular S2k responed very well to the mods...but with many of us, its proof.

when i first bought my s, i asked my local thread what to do to tune it na. they told that it already was. wtf? so i lost hope and went striaght to the FI section but then, lost hope again at the price of boost. then i just started to fiddle and now, look at where WE are. proving the the s2k can and will make power off bolt ons. if we can just spead the word. i'd like to see high 230's at the wheels before the boost comes. on 7lbs of boost it would be cool to see 320 at the wheels. goals, goals goals.
