here's the last run.
Third run to 7800

and my graph!!!!

sorry if it's to small guys. photobucket compresses the pics, and I don't know what ese to use for it.
Thats a very odd dyno graph

On a normal 2L chart, (never seen a 2.2 chart!) the torque is constant to the redline where yours drops drastically. Also the torque at lower rpms is all over the shop. Is that a fault of the dyno? Surely thats not real?!

Does it just need fine tuning with the AEM? What ECU map are you using?

I was thinking the same thing once i saw the graph. I believe part is due to the fact that I have no aftermarket ecu to tune with, it's on the factory tune. I've heard there dyno has had problems in the past too so I don't know. I'll be able to get a constant curve once I tune, but something was off i guess that day. here was a stock s2k that dynoed that day(2005), and his curves were very steady, and looked as they should. actually his max torque was something like 140 i think, but on the graph the line was above 170????? Maybe there was something wrong with the dyno?

I NEED AN ECU TO TUNE!!!!

for now I am happy with the 222 with no ecu tune.

with a tune, you'll smash the 230 mark.

IMO HvRRz the dyno looks accurate. If you were to "smooth" 3.5k-6k it is pretty constant, and then the torque from 6.5-8 only drops about 10ft/lbs which I think is normal

The spikes I think is like my spikes...they are due intake harmonics balancing and matching up creating a maximum amplitude or something like that...thats why you get the spikes at those areas.

Anyway, yes EMS will get you above 230! Hopefully header and exhaust get me above there as well...and then hopefully TB and Intake Mani get me to 240 or close

221 and 146 - I will try to get my sheet up soon - believe it or not, I picked up power from my modified stock airbox!!!! The numbers are with the stock box. The FIPK made 219 and 141 - My airbox is gutted, the secondary part is taped off, and I put the FIPK filter on the stock arm and BAM more peak HP and torque. I would have loved to have a CAI just to see. Needless to say, the OEM airbox is what I am sticking with. I think the header hurt my peak, but the midrange I picked up was well worth it.

Those of you who are running with gutted boxes, did you remove the L-shaped arm attached to the lid or did you leave it on?

Did you do a number of runs with each setup to verify the results?

That could just be the ECU re thinking / changing. Id like to see more runs before I was convinced! I am a fan of the stock airbox and it obviously does a good job of fuelling...

have rick's pully set coming in aout a couple weeks once they are done making them. I wanted to see what the benefits would be with these. I figure a little better at the initial start due to the decrease in weight(i know it's only like 2 lbs), but mid to top end should still be the same. Maybe 1 hp increase ok so his is mainly for the bling, and there pretty cheap so i figure wth!

anyway after that the ems will be here.
