after headwork I'll probably rev to 9300-9600
to rev to 9.300 you do not need to do head work, I would say engine work.

alianz builds 2.2L capable of rev safety up to 9.000. I would live in USA I would sell my turbo kit and go NA with alianz set up

Europe - what engine work would you say is needed to rev that high?
Not arguing, just explaining my reasoning -
When someone does a miss-shift and the revs go higher, it's always a valve that floats or bends/cracks. I rarely hear of people having bottom-end problems with a slight over-rev. Im not sure, though.

Does anybody have experience with Supertech? Be it pistons, valves, or any other internal parts. Thanks!

SLIVER, MY TUNER ASSURED ME THAT 13.4 WS MORE THAN SAFE FOR MY DRIVNG STYLE. HE SAD ITS WHEN GUYS GET CRAZY AND GO NEAR 13.8 THAT THEY REALLY DAMAGE THE MOTOR. OF COURSE THE LEANER YOU GO THE MORE POWER YOU MAKE, THATS A DIRTY TRICK! HAHAH!

I see people doing .5mm oversized valve on the Intake side, and 1mm oversized on the Exhaust side. Why this combo? Why not 1mm both?

at alianztechnologies.com they build a 2.2L race engine with 13:1 compresion 2.2L capable to rev safety up to 9.000 ( a 2.2L piston at 8.000 have the same speed a 2.0L piston at 9.000) the trick is in the cranksaft.

I was thinking in piston speed, when you over rev is for a few seconds, but reving so high for a longer period may cause a damage on the short block, I think the head is more capable to rev higher than the botom end, maybe I wrong

Wyatt, what's the weight difference with coilovers or spring/shock upgrade? Also, do you know of any lightweight rotors?

Silver, have you considered ITB? You already have the EMS... Just pick up some injectors and you'll easily hit your 250 mark. Instead of the 2500 you'll spend on exhaust/header, you could just outright buy the ITB.

Justin - I think ITBs are more for response and usable power, whereas a bigger single TB is better for top end. Knowing me Im probably wrong, but this is what I've heard.

I don't know the exact weight difference, I would guess the BC coilover vs stock shock with Eibachs was a few lbs per corner? 3-4?
Did ya find the amber sidemarkers?

Lightweight rotors - sadly, I don't. The only OEM sized ones I know of are the Brembo, which ARE OEM. Spoon might be a little lighter, Wilwood LOOKS light, etc. My Stoptechs aren't OEM size, so they're a little heavier.

DAMN why cant I stop checking this thread...

Okay: If stock car dyno'd at 198rwhp, and then with a Js I/H/E/66mmTB/ECY dynod at 236whp....

Why can't we with:
Equal intake (AEM or whatever)
Equal exhaust (T1r 70r)
Better ECU (AEM EMS tuned by the best)
Ported/Polished Head with oversized valves
Bigger TB (70mm)
Same/Equal header
Raised compression (even if only 11.5:1)
Lightweight Flywheel (even if only .5 hp)
Hondata Gasket (even if only .5 hp)

GET TO 245rwhp????? SHIZAM....
