So.... lets say you have a laser jammer. What happens if you drive through a speed trap and an officer tries to clock you with his laser gun? But then he doesn't get a reading? Can he technically pull you over? Issue you a citation? arrest you? Give you a hard time? I bet he'd probably know you had something jamming his signal because he just clocked the car before and the car after you.
You typically want to slow down as soon as you're alerted and then shut off the jammer once you reach the posted limit. Errors and inability to read are not uncommon with laser units.

Sti is great, but super expensive and not worth it unless you live in VA or other restricted places. The X50 is great and I save 100+ a drive with it. Get an extra set of window plugs and run it in all your cars.

valentine 1 is the best, but its expensive, and it sounds like the cheapest option for you is to save gas, leave a little earlier, and slow down

anyone have any reasoning behind their preference? i have one in mind but would like to still hear the benefits and drawbacks to each one stated above...

also (off topic) dfws2k, do you have pics of your car? the mods sound similar to mine and mods i want to do to mine. i'd love to see it when i come down to flower mound.
V1 because of arrows AND counter to tell you how many signals are in the area. Also if you search around, in almost EVERY test I have seen, v1 had either THE best or ,at worst, the second best range in detecting different types of radar.
