I've no authority to say how "proper" this is, but here is how my tuner has vtec setup (this is a new KW kit, 16psi, AEM Series 2)

OFF conditions
0.5 psi
3300 rpm
40% TPS

ON conditions
0.9 psi
3400 rpm
45% TPS

I have no complaints about part throttle operation with those settings. But I think you have a PD blower, right? So that could change things greatly. In some situations I will hear VTEC engage & disengage repeatedly when modulating throttle on a tight turn, but it doesn't hardly upset the car as I'm not making much boost in those situations.

To any AEM guru's, do ALL conditions or ANY conditions have to be met to engage/disengage VTEC?

I made one for a friend. I moved the steering box a little toward the back for a little space.

You can sort of see it bolted down here. It is not 100% solid as it just bolts to plastic.

Thanks, that helps. I am going to play with it this weekend and I might up it to 50% throttle to see if the problem goes away, then back it down to find where the threshold is. It might not be the VTEC that is the problem, but that is my best guess until I can have the tuner look at it, but my appointment is not until the end of May.

5thgen, you're a talented fabricator. Ever though of producing that as a kit?

Thanks. Just the fusebox bracket? Yeah I could make them...it would take a little time since they are just one-off handmade pieces.

Just a thought and I doubt it would fit, but does any know if the Borg turbos with the hot side option would work with the ptuning manifold?

What hotside option? The tial? I think the 200sx series turbos should easily fit. The s300sx's are most likely too large.

Yes the Tial or Treadstone hot side. I am wondering if my S262 will fit. I just read through the one member who tried to do a EFR.

question to those running a sos stage 1 sc. i'm running the stage 1 kit from sos and it comes with a 4.8 pulley that provides 6psi. my question is has anyone tried running the next pulley size down(4.6)? this pulley is supposed to provide 7psi. I've looked at sos pulley and belt chart and it uses the same length belt. talk to sos about this and they said the system would not support that change in pulley size. my afr's now @ wot are in the 11's. i'm thinking I could run this pulley with no problem and gain alittle more hp off this setup with no issues. what do you think?
