S2-Kai, there were likely some small shavings in the transmission from a few grinding gears etc and the fluid wasn't changed often. It isn't going to affect the strength of the gear, don't worry about it.

I'm hoping it's nothing too. Thanks Neema, I got the Z differential running in my car, and it uses the stock axles!! Hopefully, I'll get the trans in this month. Between spring break and moving, I just hope I'll have enough time to put in work

What size socket is needed to remove the factory oil cooler? Or do you not need to remove the "threaded" part where the oil filter screws on to get it off?

Oil cooler housing bolt head is 30mm. It is a long bolt and one piece. If you remove it and don't run the oil cooler, you need a replace it with something shorter. I think the filter thread adapter from a civic will work. Can't remember what year though.

Good pic, part number and all for you.

I remember someone was looking for a knock sensor. Looks like Ballade offers a replacement one.

I don't know if hate is the correct word. E-Manage just doesn't compare to a full standalone (AEM/Haltech).

^^^ yes I know.

That is the main reason I went with it. I like to keep the oem ecu in the loop.

Why would you want the oem ecu in the loop?
