Greddy originally was supposed to make an upgrade kit, don't know the specifics but I'm assuming it was scrapped.

It's not that people NEED a replacement manifold from pang, it's that they want an ELM that breathes better.

there's also alot of people with cracked greddy manifolds. thats what i was referring to.

I'm wondering ( besides a more reliable header ) what actual gains could be made..

I'm assuming the greddy turbo would not go any further than 340 whp or something like that, but should people get higher mid range/peak numbers compared to the LOG manifold?

I'm about to order a PFAB log mani but if PFAB is going to produce something better, then i'll wait..

The Pfab log isn't going to make much more power than the greddy.

An ELM will definitely allow the turbo to breath better if you've upgraded it as the T518Z is going to run out of breath pretty quickly. I've squeezed all the horsepower I can out of the log.

anyone with the replacment manifold know how much they gained with it? i asked pang about it, and he said roughly about 10whp depending on the tune.

It won't be useless, it will definitely make more power at a lower PSI. ELM's are much more efficient, I just don't know what the top end people are running the T518Z at right now. I'd say 14-16psi is probably the max.

10psi is 10psi on any mani the difference will be with a elm is that you will be running colder so you can increase your psi .If you change the mani and get 2.5 ic piping then 18 to 22psi should be possible the evo boys are running that turbo upto 25psi.

It's not about increasing your PSI to get more power, it's about the efficiency of the manifolds runners and collectors allowing the exhaust gasses to flow more freely. The main part of an ELM is increasing volumetric efficiency.
