No. It's there to protect the sensor from spikes in boost. An orifice controls rate, not pressure. It helps smooth the map out.
I assume that's if you are using the stock map sensor, correct?

So I'm assuming if I run the stock map (which I will be), I'm going to need this adaptor plate?

Anyone know how to source a CARB sticker or does anyone want to give me one they aren't using? I called Greddy and they said they wouldn't give them out if it's a used kit.

This is kinda off topic from the greddy MAP. I just installed my AP2 gretty kit on my 05. It's been running fine for about 3 days. Until today going home after work... All of a sudden I get the dreaded blinking CEL, and it was blinking for about almost 2 miles until I was able to pull over off the freeway. The car felt like it was running on 3 cylinders. No smoke behind me and no smell at all, so I was still in the clear somewhat. It felt very under powered and very unbalanced with a bit of shaking if you try to accelerate. Well I pulled off and luckily had a code reader it was misfiring on #2 cylinder "302" just one code. I checked for oil leaks and anything strange under the hood... nothing. I started the car up after clearing the code, and now the car is driving fine again. Later checked the oil level and it was fine. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is it even possible for the car to just run on 3 cylinders for some strange reason? Anything advice would be great! Thanks!

My dyno from yesterday, now with meth. As you can see cant get the turbo to hold boost higher up the rev range. If we add more gain it spikes to much on initial spool. Still happy with the results. Bottom line is no meth, middle is with meth and top is full boost and meth.
