This is kinda off topic from the greddy MAP. I just installed my AP2 gretty kit on my 05. It's been running fine for about 3 days. Until today going home after work... All of a sudden I get the dreaded blinking CEL, and it was blinking for about almost 2 miles until I was able to pull over off the freeway. The car felt like it was running on 3 cylinders. No smoke behind me and no smell at all, so I was still in the clear somewhat. It felt very under powered and very unbalanced with a bit of shaking if you try to accelerate. Well I pulled off and luckily had a code reader it was misfiring on #2 cylinder "302" just one code. I checked for oil leaks and anything strange under the hood... nothing. I started the car up after clearing the code, and now the car is driving fine again. Later checked the oil level and it was fine. Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Is it even possible for the car to just run on 3 cylinders for some strange reason? Anything advice would be great! Thanks!
No that is starnge tho... Do you have proper heat range plugs that are gapped preoperly.. (heat range 8 plugs)... You could also take the plugs out to make sure they are in good condition and torqued to specs....Seems wierd that it just randomly dd that.. try those things and get back to us

I think my AEM boost controller is reading more boost then its suppose too... with the controller off its reading about 9lbs of boost, but when i hook it up to the lab top and do a few runs it reads around 8 pounds of boost with no spike? Also with the boost controller on at 10lbs with the computer it only reads 7lbs FML i've been having this problem forever.

my truboost does the same thing. it will read 3-3.5psi high.

the oem map reads the boost correctly and the solenoid for the truboost does as well.

Mine kinda did the same thing but it really was not a big deal, I am now controlling the boost using the emanage ult boost by rpm. I am running 20psi with it and 1000cc injectors. And it seems to work, this may be a great fix for all the greddy guys getting boost creep. You may be able to run a much larger exhaust and TP (more hp) if you can find a emanage tuner capable of tuning like this. It does however take the tuner much more time.

I think just a mac cable, Toan used the one from the AEM Tru boost I have. They are also going to install a switch so I can run two setting one at 20psi and the other just off the WG.
