Well yesterday I luckily got in touch with someone who was selling his Spa S2000 and had his stock trunk lid just sitting in the garage. I snatched it up right away and did the swap today so I'm now wingless. One step closer to being BSP legal. Now if only I could find a damn hood locally.

So based on some rough calculations on what would work, I was thinking an 18x10.5 +70 offset would work with 295s all around with at least a 10 (probably 15mm) spacer up front and a bit of fender pulling? Rear fenders need some cutting rather than just a roll?

Unless you are going to a 2.2. I think a 285 would work better...

Shorter tire, less clearance problems (again, shorter), and a touch wider than the 295.

On an AP2, I'd want the 315 just for gearing.

I'd be doing a 2.2 with AP1 tranny.

Like Jason mentioned, there could be some legality issues there...

On courses like the west course this year, I am not at all certain the 2.0L AP1 is at much, if any, disadvantage.

It would definitely be cheaper for me to just keep my F20 but damn that F22 and the little bit of extra torque. It really sucks especially at prosolos.

Having both S2000s that had the power mods for STR, I would go with the 22. My local parts guy has 2 AP2v1 motors so they are easily available.

As far as seats are concerned, anyone have any info, links, etc? Now that my car had the suspension, diff, and sway bars on, Im moving on to the interior while I wait on the header and a new timing chain tensioner (dont ask).

What seats are you looking for? I have Recaro pole positions in mine on buddy club super low down rails (rewelded coz they are crap welds from the factory).

If I do the 22 route, I'd have to also do the AP2 tranny I guess.
