Prepping for BSP
Thanks. Also, just to confirm, from my understanding replacing fenders completely is illegal but pulling is totally fine. I assume this also means I can have my fender pulled say 20-30mm, filled and then repainted? I'd be adding some material and altering the contour of the fender but not completely replacing it with a non-OEM part so that's ok right?

Not yet. Currently I'm working on at least getting my car BSP legal (gotta remove aero, find a replacement hood, put back most of my interior. I'm not removing my rollbar though so I'll be at a weight disadvantage but I need to work on my driving more anyway. I was thinking running 295/315 but I also wonder if 295s all around is just fine. I like square setups so I can swap my tires front to back. I'm also still unclear whether 18s are needed since Hoosiers makes 295 and 315 in 17s which is the same diameter as their 18" counterpart. Having the rim 1" smaller would reduce weight and rotating mass which would be more ideal given that we're still only pushing basically STR power unless you add some really good ITBs and maybe squeeze another 10 ponies so I'm thinking of either a 17x10.5 or 18x10.5 wheel. Since fenders can be modified, I want to create a much space as possible and not be forced to push my wheel more inboard and suffer the risk of hitting on full lock or snagging on my brake ducts.
Good point, didn't think about that. Now onto aero. Based on this rule, it would seem that the seibon CF replica of the CR wing is legal or am I mistaken?
