Your going to give a up at least .5s from a 275 to 315. Probably more, but it's different on my car since it's much heavier and needs the extra tire.

I also question that the 2.0L in my ap1 has the power to turn the bigger tires.

Jason's s2k, Lee's M3 and my 350 all run pretty much the same 60's at Pros...2.05-2.15.
I worked the heat you were running at Toledo and it made me smile everytime you were on the throttle and it picked up one of your front tires. IMPRESSIVE!!

If I were to be serious about BSP, I would go with the 2.2L engine and keep my AP1 tranny. Loooove the update/backdate option!

^^^^ very true but I wouldn't be serious about it at first. I would just run it at kyr to have a bit of change and something to look forward to other then my normal STR set-up that I'll run at ckr and any national events I go to. Could be fun and at the price of just needing wheels and tires thats not to bad.

My car is set-up pretty soft...

It isn't as fast as it could be through the transitions, but it has a lot of sustained cornering ability and it catapults out of the corners like crazy for the power level.

Comparing to B-Stock S2000s is the best imo. I calculated approx 2 seconds +- the variables with my B-Stock car and swapping it out with the kooks on T&T courses and fun runs in Blytheville. Add a proper suspension and some power to the S2000, and I'm sure you could find another second +- the variables. BSP should be close to SS as far as raw times go. That may be a better way of looking at times. Still, there were times we raw timed SS even with National champs driving. More than likely, my car was better suited for the course that day. Point is, try to use the same cars and conditions to compare with. It will be interesting to bench race BS with Nick, James, Jay, Jeff, etc with Jason, Greg and the other S2000 drivers in BSP.

Congratulations Jason on the win. I was looking for you in paddock but you weren't there so I was just kinda oogling your car for a while. I've pretty much decided to push on with a BSP build next year since my car is already most of the way there. A soft top from an 00-01 (plastic window) is going in my car next week along with my interior minus the stock rollhoops and rollhoop covers which is legal. Also notching the stock bulkhead to clear my harnesses. Aero is coming off shortly. I don't want to ditch my Mugen top so I'll just take it off before runs, no biggy. Looking into swapping in an F22C and mating it with my AP1 tranny and AP2 diff housing with OSGiken and running an 8lb flywheel. No chance with my F20C right? Going to really have to research wheel/tire clearance. Probably going with CCWs so I can fit whatever I need under the car.
