I'm in Ontario, but I wouldn't mind flying over there(Vancouver, BC) with a friend and doing the 3 day trip back to Ontario.
It's hard enough to find an AP1 with that kind of mileage for less than 18,000, bone stock.

He said the BMW dealer is giving him 13,400 for the car.

I'm skeptical unless the BMW dealer is getting him on the tail end of this deal by raising the price of the BMW he is trading for.

Any thoughts

SO went to go see this car and it was immaculate. So immaculate that I paid 13,500 for it! I love the all red interior, and the fact that this car was garaged it's entire life! I'll post pics soon = )

their asking $25k for it. kbb has it $22k, edmunds has it at $15k, and nada has it at $19.7k.

im hoping i can negotiate the price to get it close to $20k...what do you guys think?

For the white S2000, you'll be lucky to get it for $24-$25K OTD. It is a dealership after all.

No way you'll get the silverstone S2000 for $20K OTD. The best you can do is probably $23-$24 OTD.

Sorry, but I disagree. I think he can EASILY get $20 otd.

I mean it's a 2005. With your pricing model, a white 2009 w/ same mileage would go for $30 otd. No way.

How much would you expect a 2009 with 27k miles Black/Red go for? It is CPO - KBB $30k, Edmunds for once is higher with about $31k. I expect to pay around $28k before tax and fees?

I'm looking at an AP1 with ~35k miles, it's in good condition. Two previous owners.
  • KBB Private (good): $16,600
  • Edmunds Private: $12,000

An average of KBB + Edmunds = $14,300.

Seller is asking $18,000. Isn't that a bit unreasonable?

How much would you pay?

I would say that's on the high side by $1-2k.

Assuming it's a 2002 or 2003 model, I wouldn't pay any more than $16.5k. If it's an older AP1, even less, maybe $15.5k.
