Hate yellow but not bad. I paid 9k for my01 with 90k miles and a rebuilt title. With the mods you got though that is a pretty good price. Just find out if it was really stolen.

Hey guys, needed some advice also for a rebuilt titled ap1, he said it was from it being stolen, I will run a carfax on it. Guy had it listed at 9.5k but he said he could do 8.5k for it, he has all original parts for the car that are included with the sale. Here's the spec's...

Never had enough $$ to get an s2000, I now have about $10,000 but really don't want to drop the whole thing on a car because I will then be broke. I am planning on taking it to a mechanic and having it fully inspected, was hoping to have them check the retainers for over reving

I don't see the attraction for CF hoods and trunk lids. It breaks up the lines and colors and just looks bad. Maybe because I'm an old guy, but I like the single color look of the S with glossy paint, not flat paint. That looks cheap to me.
Yeah, yellow is not my favorite, wanted a gpw/red interior. I have tried about 5 other s2k's in the 9-10k range, everyone has been really weird about checking it out, one guy called me a tire kicker lol, this guy has been pretty straight forward and yeah I'm definitely going to find if it was an actual theft recovery before I buy
I already agree with you, I would turn it back to stock trunk and hood
