Theft recovery.
Won't start because ignition/key are not original....dealer cost $$$$
Slashed top..... more $$$$

No way I'd touch that except at a very low cost, or if I was handy with cars.

Been looking for a good condition GPW for almost a year. Here are tidbits.

2007 GPW. Roughly 17k miles. $20k. 2 owner car. The first owner bought the car and drove it 2.5k miles in 5 months. Soon after he traded it in at a BMW dealership for something more "comfortable." The second owner has had it since. He lives in a small town and has driven the remainder 15k miles around the little town.

I took a look at the car. All the VIN's are intact on all the crucial body panels. The rear end has a lateral scratch about 4 inches. The front right had a small scratch that the owner tried to patch up with white colored home paint Interior looks pretty much like a brand new car.

Welcome!

That's a decent price, especially considering it has a hardtop (although he's quoting retail price for the HT which you can get for 2k used). But do your research about the S. This one is fairly old and if not well maintained, the car is bound to have issues. The search function was down (the last time I checked) so peruse through the numerous pages on this forum. You are guaranteed to learn more about the S than you'd ever thought possible.

Also, your thread will likely be merged with our "What do you think about this S" master thread. Just a heads up in case you start to wonder where your thread went.

I'd get it just for the license plate , otherwise it's not that great of a deal.

Yeah it does seem like a decent price, 2 owners, and a 2000 with 107k isnt bad. I also think its female owned since it says her names Jenn in the CL post. Do you guys think a year 2000 is geting to old?
