-Official- Is this car worth it thread
Ya, color and location make a difference. I'm looking for an s2k around the DC metro area, so if you're local and looking to sell it, let me know. As long as it's not blue or have a red interior, I'd be interested. If it's really in mint condition, I'd say around $13k.
read the rules...no testing waters thread...either the car is for sale or it isnt
3. You must post a price, no "testing the waters" or "gauging interest" and no PM for offer threads will be permitted. You have made the decision to sell so you must state an asking price.

Judging by his info id say the car is silverstone, for that year and mileage and if its in great condition id say somewhere 13k, or you could be like some people on this site and put it up for 14.5 and never sell it

Wow, I sold my '03 for $25K just 3 years ago.
I think, and this is pure speculation on my part, that $9-$15k is where most S's will end up. Definitely makes for a great used car bargain. Of course then the challenge will become finding a clean example.
I paid $15K for my clean '03 with 20k miles 5 months ago. The seller and I both thought we agreed on a fair price.
Of course that was 5 months ago, so the car's depreciated somewhat since. $12.5k is still low though. Sure you can get an '00 or '01 with 100k+ miles for under $10k, but buyers of those cars aren't your target audience anyway. If you have some time, stick to your guns at $14-15k and the right buyer who's willing to pay a little more for a low mileage, clean example (someone like me) will come along.

I think falling prices are a result of two things. First, nobody has any money to spend so the used car market is in the tank. Secondly, cars in general have been making ginat leaps in terms of horsepower in the last few years so people have this perception that S2000 perfomance is akin to say a Miata and are more willing to look at used Z's, Evo's and WRX's instead.
