Hi, I am thinking about purchasing my first s2000. There is one nearby that I have not looked at yet. It is a 2003 with 95,000 miles. The owner says clean title and carfax. Do you think that $11,500 is too much to pay? Thanks.
$8k...and that's with a positive compression test.
Depends on the condition of the car. How are the seats and top? Has the car been tracked? Maintenance history?
That actually sounds fair to me barring its in good condition. I sold my 2000 silverstone w/red black interior with 120k miles on it for 10.5k back in 2010 which was in good condition for what its worth...
Do you guys think this is a repo? he had to be smarter then that if he left all the parts on there.

Probably not a repo if he has the original steering wheel?
Probably just a guy that needed the money. It's a used auto dealership and maybe he thinks he can find a buyer that is willing to pay a premium for the parts too, so he offered the guy more?
Used car dealerships can be nutty guys, a lot of times without a lot a sales sense.
